Dad's .06. From a bench at age 6. Dad's buddy caught me from the recoil. An old military .06.
A .22 with my grandada.. an old Remington single shot, around age 4. The firing mechanism had to be pulled to cock the rifle.. it was pretty tough for a young fella! He bought me an Ithaca single shot 22 for my 5th birthday. Shot shorts then, because they were cheaper than long rifles. Still have both of those rifles. Times were different then

I believe it was either a lever action 22 or a single shot .410?
I don't recall it being very eventful.
I have much better recollection of endless hours shooting my Daisy BB gun in my grandfather's backyard.
