2026 Wyoming cow elk opportunities

So, Wyoming's looking at having cow/antlerless elk licenses in certain hunt areas come 2026. Sounds like these tags could mean longer seasons and less competition. Has anyone here hunted cow elk in Wyoming before? Any advice on good units and when to go?

The wife and I get type 6 tags every year.
I don't know if one unit is any better than another.

I went elk hunting out west once and when I went was way more important than where. The late snow pushed the elk around like clockwork. Just waiting paid off big time instead of fighting the crowds.
