I'm wondering what people think about rechambering guns. I've seen some old rifles that have had their barrels relined or rechambered to fit modern ammo. Is this a good idea, or could it be risky? I'd be worried about headspace, chamber support and if the gun has been properly tested. If you've ever owned one, did it last??

Changing the caliber of a gun is risky...headspace and pressure are super important. So always go to a certified gunsmith. If it's done right, it can last for years
