I do it just ten minutes before bed. My trigger control got way better in like two weeks. I wish I'd started this years ago. It's free practice. Do you dry fire regularly or skip it?

I dry fire most every night.

If you dry fire 7 shots every night you will have dry fired over 2500 times in a year. That should be enough to create muscle memory that should make a huge difference when you are live firing.

I don't compete but I shoot long range targets a lot. This has helped me considerably.

Ten minutes every night messing around like this would make you way better at shooting than going to the range more often.

Good habit. Dry fire is one of those things that pays off fast because it builds consistency without the noise and cost of live fire. Even a short daily routine adds up quickly if you stay consistent and deliberate about it.

I didn’t think dry firing would do anything but now I won’t skip it. Ten minutes makes a difference.

I tried this for about a month before I finally noticed my reset speed up without forcing it. I wish someone had pushed me to start doing this years ago.
