I caught myself lecturing someone about trigger discipline and proper sight alignment, sounding exactly like my grandfather did 20 years ago. The cycle continues. We become the old guys passing down knowledge and probably annoying the next generation while doing it. At least the information is solid even if the delivery is dated...
 
I caught myself giving the exact same safety talk my grandpa gave me, same tone and all. It felt strange hearing his words come out of my mouth.
 
That’s how it happens, one day you're rolling your eyes at the old-timers and the next you're repeating the same advice because you’ve seen enough to know why it matters. Some lessons stick around because they keep proving themselves.
