You might check out the Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association range, it’s the main spot we locals use for sighting in and they’ve got rifle lanes and even some long-range options. If you’d rather hit public land, there are BLM and Forest Service areas around Sheridan where target shooting is allowed, just make sure you’ve got a solid backstop and you’re well clear of roads, camps, or livestock
