Got out on the water last weekend up in the Bighorn Basin. Targeting some trout this time of year is always a thrill. The weather was mild, a bit overcast, which seemed to help with the bite. I was tossing a few spinners and a couple of different colored power worms.
Caught a few decent rainbows, but there were definitely some missed strikes — I swear one of them had my lure for a couple seconds before popping off. Ended up fishing solo, which was nice, but I sure missed the company after a while. How's the fishing been for everyone else this year? Drop your reports!
