Found something random in the middle of nowhere

I was hiking miles from any road and found a full couch just sitting there. I have no idea how it got there or why. The woods are weird sometimes. What's the strangest or most random thing you've come across way out in the woods?

The woods are full of surprises, I once found a shopping cart in the middle of nowhere

Years ago when my son had just got old enough to hunt we spent the summer practicing shooting. He really liked shooting off of a bench. I made him shoot from as many different positions as I could think of. Using his backpack as a rest etc. I told him he wouldn't have a chair or bench to shoot from when we were out hunting.

We finally made it out into the woods hunting. we were at least a mile from the nearest road. I'll be danged if he didn't find an old lawn chair. I'll never forget the smile on his face when he held it up and said "I do too have a chair to sit in".

Not that I have found anything super strange, but there was a time I came across a blue backpack out in the woods. I wonder what events led up to bandoning that backpack.
