I've followed Wyoming sporting posts for a while and decided to jump in after that snowmobile ban story made the rounds again. I've been outdoors here since I was a kid and like hearing straight talk from people who live it.

Welcome @kazooie It is always good to have another Wyoming voice in the mix, especially someone who's been around long enough to see how things have changed. The snowmobile debate definitely gets people fired up, we are looking forward to hearing your perspective on things

I've been out near Alcova lately. Any elk movement your way or is it still quiet?

Lots of friends have taken creatures in areas 27, 28, and 100. A few nice bulls; nothing record setting. Lots have said they haven't seen one. Sort of a typical season so far.

We had 6-800 move off the South end 34, a week or so ago. Not good. They like the green meadows. The G&F won't do anything about um on private. You can drive down and see um if you want to know what they look like.
