My first gun, my grandfather's rifle, and the 1911 I carried overseas, these aren't going anywhere. They're not the best guns I own but they're irreplaceable because of what they represent. Some things have value beyond function and these guns have stories that matter more than money ever could..

Almost every gun I have inherited will be in my safe for my kids to deal with when I die.

My Dads JC Higgins model 50, His model 31 Remington, My step dads 760 Remington and a few others.

As far as my guns, A model 70 Winchester that started life as a .270 and now is a 6.5X55. I'm sure there are a couple others but I have come to the conclusion that my kids aren't as interested in my S&W revolver collection as I am. I'll probably sell most of them so they don't have to deal with the headache.

That’s legacy right there! some guns are heirlooms, others are just chapters you pass along wisely
