How do you guys clean your lenses when you're out hunting or at the range? I usually carry a microfiber cloth and LensPen but they don't always do the trick. Any tips for cleaning lenses quickly and safely without scratching them?

Same as for my cameras: (1) use lens caps, (2) Zeiss wet disposable cleaning cloth, followed by microfiber, if necessary. After a couple of times, you should replace the microfiber cloths, in particular when used to clean off (gun) oil specles.

Knock off those big chunks, then give it a good wipe with a quality wipe, you can count on it for your hunt.

Blow off the big stuff first...don't just wipe it. A little breath and a lens wipe or clean cloth should work, just make sure the dust is gone first.

I keep a blower brush, soft cloth in a zip bag and a little lens cleaner. Never wipe dry dust, I learned that one the hard way on a foggy elk hunt
