Weather caught me unprepared

Last season the weather caught me unprepared. I checked the forecast and it called for clear, but the mountain weather changed fast and I got soaked without rain gear. I had to cut the hunt short....Always pack for worse weather than predicted, mountain weather doesn’t care about forecasts.

Mountain weather is brutal, it is always better to overpack rain gear than regret it.

I always bring a light rain jacket now, no matter what the weather looks like. Mountain weather changes fast. Carrying a little extra weight is better than having to stop hunting.
