Building my first AR-15 was a bucket-list moment after years of shooting my dad's old rifles.

It's a 5.56 with a 16" barrel and a cheap optic (I will add a pic soon).

Zeroing the red dot took some trial and error compared to iron sights. I'm eyeing a better trigger next.

I'd love to see pics of your AR builds. What upgrade totally changed your setup?

A Geissele SSA trigger changed my AR game. Crisp break and faster follow-ups. I also added a Magpul UBR stock for better balance. Post that pic of your build when you can.

Congrats on your build, I swapped to a Geissele trigger on mine and it was a night-and-day difference for accuracy and feel. I also upgraded the optic to something crisp. AR builds are addictive once you start
