Worst camping trip disaster you've had

I set up my tent in what looked like a good spot. It rained that night and I woke up in a literal puddle. What's your biggest camping fail? The kind that seemed fine until it all went wrong.

I’m a traditional bowhunter. September deer/elk season down in the Snowy range not far from Turpin lake. In those days we always hunted from a base camp consisting of a couple of large canvas outfitter style tents with rugged steel poles.
It snowed so heavy one night that the weight brought the tent down. Bummer.
